About Stanford Seed Transformation Network Ghana

The Stanford Seed Transformation Network is a Network of participants who have completed the Stanford Seed Transformation Program. Seed is a Stanford Graduate School of Business-led initiative. Established in 2016, the global communities of Seed Transformation Program past participants constitute the Seed Transformation Network. The Network operates active chapters in West, East, and Southern Africa, and India.

The Network offers members a way to harness the power of the global Seed community by connecting online, in-person, or at events, with other like-minded business leaders whose industries or interests align with their own.

About Seed

The Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economics – known as Stanford Seed – is a Stanford Graduate School of Business-led initiative that is working to end the cycle of global poverty. Stanford Seed partners with entrepreneurs in emerging markets to build thriving enterprises that transform lives. The Seed Transformation Program is a yearlong, on-the-ground leadership program for established founders and CEOs in emerging economies focused on growing their businesses and increasing the positive impact they have in their communities. Seed operates regional and satellite centers in West Africa, East Africa, Southern Africa, and India.

LINDA YAA AMPAH

CEO - KAD Manufacturing & Cadling Fashions.
PRESIDENT - STN Ghana.

Linda Ampah is the founder and CEO of Cadling Fashions and KAD Manufacturing Limited, a fashion house, and manufacturing company respectively. Linda’s heart for empowering women led her to develop not just a garment manufacturing factory and fashion line but one that provides jobs, teaches both sewing and life skills and builds confidence in vulnerable and unemployed women. KAD Manufacturing produces garments and pet products for both the local and export market. Linda has also authored a book titled ‘Pieces of the Portrait’.

CARL RICHARDS

EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN - African Concrete Products.
VICE PRESIDENT - STN Ghana.

Carl Richards is an Experienced Executive Chairman with a demonstrated history of working in the Construction, Building Materials, and Civil Engineering (Infrastructural Development) industries. Skilled in Negotiation (win-win and something from nothing), Troubleshooting, Strategic Planning, and Business Development.

Experienced Chief Operating Officer with a demonstrated history of achievements in the downstream oil & energy industry. Bilingual, skilled in Negotiation, General Management, Business Planning, Retail, Sales, and Marketing. Strong operations and marketing professional. Passionate about Big Data, Analytics, and E-commerce Solutions.

Karen Evans Halm is described as a strong woman, an entrepreneur, and an architect who will overcome every obstacle in her path to see to it that whatever she sets her mind to gets done. She is a co-founder & COO of Spektra Global Limited where her focus has been on the shaping and strategic positioning of the company for both local and global opportunities in the industry.

LEARNING & EVENTS OFFICER - STN Ghana.

Jemima is an experienced educationist with over 27 years in school management. She is the Founder and CEO of Happy Kids Schools – Ghana. Aside education she also volunteers internationally for the training and guidance of young people. Jemima is presently the Vice Chairperson of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM).
